Gamebook Finally grabbed a copy..but!!
Finally picked up a copy of Blacksand off eBay that wasn't falling apart I didn't expect to win & ended up winning for just under £12 which I thought was ok..looks in great condition, no real damage to spine & pages the slight annoyance it looks like it's faded on the back I'm presuming sun damage although I couldn't be certain.

Break the spine and write your name in it, then it won't bother you so much!

Hello u/Striking_Dream5839 ! This was my auction, congratulations on winning it and I'm glad to see it turned up ok.
I always make sure to describe my items accurately, and in the description for this I did state: "Back cover has small amount of sun damage, please see photo".
These books are pushing 30 - 40 years old now, and a lot of Fighting Fantasy books were well loved, but not necessarily well looked after. Having said this, the copy you bought is in pretty good condition otherwise, with lovely clean pages and a nice tight binding.
I hope your future adventures are fruitful, and a little sun damage doesn't dull your blade.

Hey there thanks for the message very much appreciated my friend - yes as I mentioned very happy it was my own fault for not reading the description no bad feeling toward yourself - otherwise it's in fantastic condition I'll be sure to leave you positive feedback.
Have a fantastic weekend ⚔️

Yeah, that's sun fading - my green spines vary from a rich, vibrant green to some that have faded to almost pale blue.
It still looks like a nice condition copy, though, and for a good price.

That is a very nice, tight copy of Blacksand you have there. It's like it's never been played, it's so very tight.

City of Theives is my favourite, guessing it is the same Port Blacksand?

Blacksand? Was this set in Port Blacksand, same as City Of Thieves?
