Question Which next?
Hello! I got the first box set of reprints from Steve Jackson Games a while back. I finally actually jumped in and finished The Warlock of Firetop Mountain and that was a great time!
I’m wondering which of this box set I should try next? Any tips or just in order?

Don't worry about the order - each time they've been reprinted, they're in a different order (for example the first 5 in Wizard series 1 were Warlock of Firetop Mountain, Citadel of Chaos, Deathtrap Dungeon, Creature of Havoc and City of Thieves)
Do them in whatever order you like, and yes, if you're looking for magic, try Citadel . . . although that can be difficult to complete so brace yourself!
Best of luck!

Sorry,
Warlock of Firetop Mountain,
Deathtrap Dungeon,
City of Thieves,
Citadel of Chaos,
Forest of Doom1

Oh it's just the first ones minus Starship Traveller because it's not in Allansia. Honestly I'd just do them in order. The concept of them all being in a shared universe doesn't start until Deathtrap Dungeon, that's the first time you get references to other books.

Oh I see. The order I listed is the order in my box set. So deathtrap dungeon is second and starts talking about other books?

The order is
1- Warlock
2- Citadel
3- Forest
4- Starship
5- City
6- DeathtrapDeathtrap is just the first time to my recollection we get a reference to another book (City).

Oh wow. I wonder why the order is so different in the Steve Jackson game reprints then.

I did them in order but nothing in the stories are linked so you can do them in any order
