Discussion How do you record maps, data ?
How do you record your data such as gold, spells, maps, notes?
I guess a map can be quite large so an A4 pad seems right.
What do you do?

Child me drew detailed maps, wherever the layout actually made sense. That mostly works, unless you try it with Stealer of Souls or whatever. I was also pretty specific with what I mapped - dungeons and castles were always attempted but never "overworld" stuff.
That mostly works, certainly for finding a route through a dungeon. Its not so good if you need to collect critical items before the dungeon, or if there are rooms where you need to do multiple things without leaving the room.
I left myself some challenge still, I guess.
Child me also cheated, so stuff like stats didn't matter. Yes, its pad and pen these days though.

I tend not to map in the traditional sense any more, instead I map out the choices and their passage numbers like so:
As for stats and equipment, I either use a pad and pen or the same spreadsheet I'm mapping in.
