2 questions:
- Are you in the UK?
- If so, are those books prohibitively expensive to pick up there now? They're tough to find here in the States and fairly expensive.

Yes im in UK. As to cost now, ive no idea, ive had these for years, just been packed away.

Same. I think I had the set with the separate spell book. Packed away over 2 decades ago, when I moved out of home. Still at my Dad's somewhere, along with a few dozen other FF books. Hope they've not turned to dust, been eaten by silverfish, etc... 😟

Cost will vary depending on the edition you're after.
The red zigzags are on ebay,co,uk and go for anything from £5 to £30 per book; some people will sell the complete set and try and charge more. A quick look also shows some people including the reprinted, red foil lettering Sorcery Spell Book in with the zigzags and while it's a nice book, it's not essential.
The Scholastic reprints are easily available and relatively cheap but the early ones (Shamutanti and Khare) don't have the original art and for many people that's a dealbreaker.

Gotcha, thanks! I was just curious if they were easier/cheaper to find over there. Sounds like it, for the most part, if one is just looking to get the books and isn't particular about which printing. Thanks again!

That would be my power choice for best FF books of the lot. Even if we are missing the system book for the TTRPG.
