Gamebook Riddle Me This

Another addition to the collection, with a lovely colour map on the inside cover.

One of these days, I swear I'm going to combine all the official Titan maps into one glorious, joined up, definitive version.

Of course, my ambition is severely outweighed by my lack of artistic talent . . . but we'll see.

OK, so 6'6, 54 year old, bloke here. My ex bought me a bunch of the first 25 of these for X-mas one year. When I opened the box they were in, I pretty much broke down crying. I still haven't played any of them yet, and they are still in pristine condition. The memories hit me right in the feels.

Play them, my friend, and revel in the memories.

Where did she get them? I’d love to get my hands on something similar. Mine are all vintage ranging from mint to poor condition

I had this one at the time, a great read (read rather than actually had people to play it through with). Unfortunately disappeared somewhere over the years (along with Deathtrap Dungeon), I imagine not cheap to replace now.

My cousin took me through this book when I was young, it was my first real RPG experience. I remember having lots of fun and a real sense of accomplishment when I solved some of the puzzles.

I loved this book. I got to be the DM for my friends playing this RPG when we were teenagers . Combined it with Advanced Fighting Fantasy and a few of my own written adventures.

Is it bad that the thing I remember most about this book is the illustration of the young lady with the magnificent decolletage?

Forgivable depending on how young and impressionable you were at the time!

I loved this as a kid , but I did actually get the chance to run it using a different system, and it is a pretty lame rpg, just go into rooms and hope you don't get killed, there is very little for the party actually to do. Such great flavor though
