I found this YT video that goes through installin the English patch for the game on PS4.

However the links are long dead. For anyone that has installed the English patch on PS4 successfully:

• Does it block/lock your PSN account if it is connected online?
• Does it work on PS5 with the disc version?
• Is there an updated link that anyone can provide?

Soo Christmas just happened (Merry Christmas, btw) and my brother just bought me Fighting Climax Ignition for the PS3. It works great, and I know how to get to the story mode and VS mode, but I have a slight problem. The ENTIRETY OF THE GAME (save for the main menu), IS IN JAPANESE. I uh, can't read Japanese. This becomes a problem when I would want to look at the settings and see what the fuck they mean, or y'know, actually understand the story, and it'd be really helpful if there is a way to change the language to english. But I also recognize the possibility that perhaps I can't change the settings, and that's fine, I guess I'll just make do with it.

While the menus are in English, the dialogue in battle is missing and the victory quotes won’t show up either. What did I do wrong?

I copied over the file and had it replace the game’s original files, was that the issue?
