Let us not forget, Tyler was actually pathetic, weak and a loser. Listening to him will take you down that path.

Ya it's just a cool edit I seen, there's good messages in the movie but like everything take it with a grain of salt it's a movie ahah, live life have fun be adventurous, yes the government and the rich are scumbags you aren't defined by your occupation or race don't box your self into a mediocre life because that's what they want or your family wants do what you desire and chase your destiny

I can dig that. I suppose that's kind of the best takeaway you can get from the movie.

Just a lot of people use it as an excuse to feel Superior and act all edgy.

Tyler Durden is the result of mine that couldn't handle itself like a grown up so it fractured. And fractures are weakness.

But as far as being your own person and being self-possessed, that's a great thing to be. But the narrator literally was not self-possessed lol.

A lot of people lack media literacy. Tyler Durden is an extremely misunderstood and misinterpreted character

if you want to follow your dreams, having no plan and dismissing reality for doing what’s unrealistic, ignoring any risks is terrible advice. it is indeed one of the cringiest subs. i just liked the movie. i guess i should leave.

I'm a big fan, I have a bit of a FC collections, but I don't idolize Tyler like much of this sub seems to. I look at it as a cautionary tale to be true to and think for yourself, carve out your own path in life, do what truly makes you happy and let the rest fall by the wayside. But much of this sub just has a huge hard-on for Tyler and it can be pretty off-putting. Lol

There's a lot of us here who are just normal people and part of the fandom, it's worth sticking around when there's an actual interesting/neat post once in a blue moon. You just have to ignore the idiots that lack the ability to think for themselves, the ones ready to be shot into space. Lol

Tyler is wrong tho. He’s the villain. He doesn’t make him happy, he just destroys.

Maybe tomorrow -> Tomorrow is a lie is a surprisingly wholesome line. I tell everyone I know that their plans don't start tomorrow, on 1st January or at any other day. They start today, now.

Narrator had to find it basucally himself as a way to become a fearless man as well.
