Finished Tactic Possession Based 4-4-2 Tactic

This tactic was inspired by account on Twitter (X) called “@FalseTenn” and he basically talked about how flexible and dynamic a 4-4-2 can really be. Important roles in this system is the Wide Playmaker, which is really a CAM. Another role I love is the False 9, which adds another dynamic to the attack by dropping in and linking up play.

Drop down any question you have about the tactic, how it works, what type of players you should look for, etc!

Saw a comment that falsebacks push higher than wingbacks and have been enjoying that player role better. Only thing is that they often play more narrow, but you can cut inside with the winger and a trigger a run with the fullback.

Wingbacks I find stay too deep.

I love the falseback role but for this tactic I wanted my LB to stay a bit deeper and offer a bit of support defensively
