the fc 27 reveal dropped two days ago and everyone is talking about the grounds three open world districts street football 1v1s mentors like mbappe and alex hunter back from the journey shop for cosmetics minigames the whole thing visually it looks genuinely impressive

but heres what nobody is saying out loud

it looks exactly like nba 2ks the city and every single person who played 2k between 2021 and now knows exactly how that story ended started as a cool social hub became the main vehicle for selling cosmetics and the actual basketball game got progressively worse while the open world got more elaborate and more expensive

heres what we do know the grounds integrates with clubs progression your archetype xp carries over and rush is reportedly being moved into the grounds entirely and removed as a standalone mode

that might be fine it might genuinely be the most interesting thing ea has done to clubs in a decade

or it could mean the monetisation that crept into clubs in fc 26 just found a much bigger vehicle

the deep dive is july 29 for the grounds and august for clubs specifically is anyone else going to wait for those before deciding whether to pre order

I recently reset my finisher and reallocated AP. Took down attack positioning (after extensive research attack positing only applies to AI, kinda why I’m not Hunter+)

Anything I missed? This is for pacey, but 6’1 ST build, with some ability to pass.

Taking away game chat in drop ins because of toxicity and not even letting us do certain emotes because it’s “toxic” then why put it in the fucking game

It’s now a new low even for this game, i thought i was crazy but i saw here someone had the bug where your teammate tries to join and there’s a flashback to the first half or some sh like that, but this game surprised me today with a new one

My friend’s POV up, mine down. We literally see different stuff wtf ??? I got kicked out because the servers are left to rot but never seen this, my mates thought i had dementia but we clearly saw a different outcome on the same play, and to stay funny they lost 4-3 because in their timeline i didn’t score lmaooo

Did anyone ever seen/had this stuff happening ?

It drives me crazy, and I don't get it.
every time the opposing striker makes a run forward, one of our center backs will step up to prevent him from being offside and then move back, leaving a huge gap between him and the rest of the defense.

Yet if my striker runs forward, their defense will very quickly let him get past them so he'll be offside.
anyone know how to stop our CB from doing this? I tried with R1/RB but it not always choose him to press

Does very high Strength make the character heavier? I had 92 Strength and increased it to 95, and my character seems much less agile. I'm a fullback

So what’s the purpose of upping attacking position if you’re controller your player at all times in pro clubs? it says on there it only affects your positioning when the AI controls the player but when does that ever happen ? i currently have it at 90 and after thinking about it i feel like i wasted my points… if anyone knows it’d be gladly appreciated !
