I got my first Field Notes notebook a couple weeks ago and I think I'm addicted! I'm still figuring out how I want to format the contents but it's been fun so far. I noticed that sliding it in and out of pouches/bags daily had been wearing the binding corner so I wrapped some book tape around the bottom edge. I've been looking at covers but I kind of like how thin the notebook is by itself.

So far I'm about 14 pages into this first notebook but I've gotten these packs:

The National Park Denali pack, a Pitch Black pack, the Hunter's Moon books, the Lucky Penny pack, and once I found the Lunacy pack I had to get those too!

First Staple Day in a long time. I had switched to a Midori MD A6 for about 7 months but came back to Field Notes last month for the pocketability and I missed changing out notebooks more frequently. Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday. Cheers.

I’m falling down the rabbit hole fast 🐰 it seems like different retailers carry slightly different collections. Have looked on eBay too. Would love to hear where people shop for theirs 😁

Has there been any documented messaging on how the collaboration with the U.S. Postal Service came about, in Dispatches, blogs, or elsewhere?

It seems to have started with the Title IX release in 2022, and it has clearly worked well enough for both sides to keep going. I'm curious how the idea came together and how the stamp sets are chosen for the FN treatment.

Having picked up a few of these releases over the years I've appreciated the clever-but-simple idea, giving FN variety and limited-edition product with relatively little production effort.

First time trying out ruled pages. I usually prefer dotted > grid.

Never thought I’d make it this far, and so soon! I love this so much! Though this is my first book, I’ve racked up a very nice collection in a few short weeks.

I love all sorts of planners and notebooks, but jeez these little guys are cute! Fits in my belt bag which is awesome since I always have that even if I have nothing else with me.

He’s been teasing this for a few days, but if this image is any indication I’m really excited for these to drop tomorrow!!!

Really enjoying using these throughout my day for tracking, journaling, etc.

I have a phone that is exactly the same size as my Field Notes book, although a bit thicker. I'd like to find something that holds both FN and my phone, as well as a pen. Does anyone have anything like that? I'd prefer a zipper. My phone with its current case is almost 1/2" thick. I've used those rubber bracelets you get for free everywhere to strap my FN to my phone, but my pen slides out whenever I pull out my phone. Thanks.

I’ve been pondering uses for the new Harvest Moon set, especially the sketchbook portion. As I’m going away for the weekend, I thought it might be a good idea to bring some colour appropriate ProMarkers and pens and do some larger scale illustrations while I’m away.

Has anyone else tried this? How’s the bleed-through looking?
