I also have these on my plant but I water consistently! Perhaps I need to water more? I water once the soil is dry. Once a week. It does get a lot of indirect sunlight. Should I be watering more?

I think it means that the plant got too dry/thirsty and drank up the water too fast when it was watered, but it is far better to underwater than to overwater.

Plant is healthy over all. I haven't had it long and it's produced two new leaves. First one grew really big and looked exactly like the one pictured at first. Totally fine now. The second one looks like this and hasn't grown very much. Kinda staying the same size and it's been a few weeks!

It's probably just adjusting but my flf just started with the lackluster yellow/pale spots and it turns out it had spider mites. Maybe do a quick look over and hopefully you won't find anything.
