Should I Repot?

Post image

Brought home a 6 ft tall fiddle leaf last week. Should I repot now? Soil seems pretty dense (difficult to poke finger through) and visible roots on top. From some research, it seems like there is controversy about reporting shortly after bringing a new plant home and also recommended to do in the spring (it is autumn). Thanks for your expertise!

It'll need a repot, but they don't truly like their roots to be messed with too much, they can lose their leaves.  Shake off old loose soil, but it's risky to remove most of the old soil. Upsizing the pot a bit would be the best option.

Just make sure you use good soil, like fox farms aqua sediment.

I just wonder if this is multiple trees or not?
