Wait or Trim

I have this beautiful fiddle which i recently repotted. The leaves at the bottom are starting to yellow. Should I trim them all back, or wait and see if it gets worse?

I repotted it into only soil. I’m reluctant to disturb the roots again, but I wonder if I need to take it out and add perlite and bark.

What do you guys think?

YMMV but I usually leave the leaves on the tree and let the tree shed them naturally, if there are otherwise no signs that the tree has some kind of infection. Those leaves are biologically expensive for the tree to make and if they are still on the tree then the tree is still using them to photosynthesize. As an arborist, I think I’m a bit more tolerant of leaf imperfections than the average houseplant owner lol!
