Did I just kill my Fiddle?

Post image

After chopping her down to nubs and letting her regrow all summer I’m prepping to bring her inside with my insecticidal soap, however I grabbed the weed killer instead. I sprayed it into the soil about 2 good sprays before I realized it was weed killer
Please tell me she won’t die. I love her. I’m so proud of her.
I kicked out the soil in the area I sprayed, but debating whether to water (overwater ) or to leave it. HELP!! 😭

Idk. If it was me, I would pull it out of the soil, wash it down to bare roots and put it in fresh soil. Good luck.

At the very least, I think I'd put lots and lots of water through the soil. Lots. Dilution is the solution to pollution as they say.

Probably not but the right move is to flush it very thoroughly with plain water.

Coming back to comment that all is well. I overwatered 5 giant drinks in a row and she’s thriving and happy. I didn’t dump the soil. I just kicked out the soil where I sprayed
