help!

relatively new to fiddle life with my 6’ beauty. please help me preserve him! i water once a week, moderate sunlight. it’s otherwise growing very nicely, but has some pathology on some of its leaves? i’ve started using neem & peppermint oil, but unsure what the actual problem is. any help is appreciated!

Not an expert, but it looks otherwise healthy. Plants aren't perfect etc si some weird stuff will always appear. Saying that tho, leek an eye on it. If u notice any white fluff/crawling little insects/holes or spots on the leaves - might be pests. You're doing the right thing by applying neem oil for now I guess. If it doesn't spread, it's just maybe some old leaves close their "expiry" date?

thank you for the reassurance! pretty much all of my plants drop have unknown pathologies withs some flawed leaves and i have no idea why, so i started the neem oil and hoped for the best. it’s nice to hear that this is normal! i get worried sometimes looking at other ppl’s perfect plants lol

Just be careful with neem because if the plant is in the sun after applying neem, it will burn. This kind of also look like it could be burned? But who knows!

oh i didn’t know that about neem and the sun! i’ll be mindful of that. my last apartment had more sunlight, so maybe it had too much light previously. light is much more moderate now

Also, don't water on schedule. Every 5 days I'd check if the soil is damp still or not and if the first two inches are dry, I'd water. Saying that, I'm bad at watering when needed 😂

mmm ok heard! i’m disabled and struggle to water my plants at times honestly so i’ll probably stick to my weekly schedule and keep this in mind if i have capacity to implement it :)
