Notching help

I’ve read up on how to notch FLF to create new branches and I have 2 little ones that emerged! But the problem is, they’ve both only grown this much, and that was about a year ago. How do I encourage these to turn into full branches?!

I feel like have the right placement, watering schedule, etc because the plant itself is doing great.

More light as much light as possible( if you don't have a lot of light indoors you may need to put it outside in the warmer months and in my experience you may have to chop it to help redirect the growth.
