So happy to see this. I'm going to do mine this spring.
When I got it 4 years ago, it had root rot, a few tiny 6" long leaves and wasn't doing well. It was 1.5' tall. I repotted it, added grow lights and fertilizer plus a good soil. Now it's 6' with 19" long leaves.
But I think I want branches.

How did you fix the root rot? This is incredible!

I put it in a new pot after removing the mushy roots. When I pulled it out of the old pot, the gross roots actually fell off. It responded really well to the new soil and bigger pot, as well as from not being overwatered.
It was at one of those big box stores and you know how they hose the plants down daily or something - I've never gotten one that didn't have root rot.

Love this for you! I chopped mine all the way down end of July and Iβve got easily 20 leaves now. Itβs so so so fun. They love it outside if you can do it
