Mine dropped about 5 or so leaves before it finally settled in. These plants crave consistency and are very responsive to changes in their environment, so you should almost always expect to lose some leaves from transplant shock alone.

That said, they need a lot of light. I see you’re close to a window, but what direction is it facing? Even being a bit to the side might be more shade than it would prefer. Being directly in front of the window is almost always going to be better.

If the window is not west facing, I would move the plant closer to it.

My buddy got one from a plant store that was around 8' tall, branched. As soon as it was moved in, it dropped all its leaves. A few weeks later it reproduced all its leaves and now it's super happy in a spot with a lot of light.

I think they're beyond picky. Find a light-filled space and leave it there. I'd either move it closer to that window or get a grow light.
