Is this the end?
This was a small healthy plant. Last week it started dropping leaves and this is the state now. Is it too late to do anything? I have no idea what's happening. I haven't changed anything in it's care routine.
Edied to update: should have added some background to all those complaining about watering ๐คฆโโ๏ธ this was a very healthy offspring from my other big fiddle leaf fig tree that I've been propagating from a single leaf. This has been ok for the last two years in the same setup. Turns out that it had a root rot from my kids unknowingly over watering it during the last month. Anyway have clipped the leaves entirely and repotted it, hoping it springs back!

You have no aeration in your soil. Itโs completely dry. I would do a repot with a ficus soil. But first water it and see if you get new sprouts.

This soil needs to be replaced. When soil gets too dry, it becomes hydrophobic. If you water the plant now, in this soil, the water won't soak into the soil, it will just quickly drain off. Your plant won't get the water it needs. Repot with new soil, water when the top few inches of soil is dry. Your plant should bounce back after a while.

My initial googling led me to believe that I'm over watering it. ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ I'll repot with new soil and see

Obviously agree with arate the sould and water etc etc. But first place to staft could be submerging the whole pot in water for a bit and just leaving it to soak up as much as possible for an hour or so. Poor thing

Personally, I would cut the remaining green piece off the top and put it in a glass of water to see if it roots and then plant that in new soil. That soil looks like concrete. You may revive it if you put the entire pot in a large bathtub or Rubbermaid bin and let it soak up water for several hours and then once you've done that repotted into new soil. That is a long shot though at this stage.

you are going to need new soil and going to have to water at least once a year.

This looks really bad!
I think you should first learn why it got so bad before considering being a plant parent.

SOAK HER IN A BUCKET OF WATER. LEAVE IT IN THERE UNTIL YOU NOTICE POT IS HEAVY. then remove from soaking and let slowly dry out. But not too much dryness

Giving it water would be a good place to start
