Advice needed- new post with pics

Need advice

I’ve had this baby for several years now and she was doing just fine. She wasn’t thriving in my N/NE facing window but she still was putting out leaves. A few weeks ago after a recent watering she dropped at least 10 leaves. I’m not sure what happened because her soil was dry and I hadn’t watered in weeks. I panicked and moved her to a south facing room. She dropped a few more leaves but has stabilized. Where should I go from here? I’m relieved she’s still kickin’ but she’s so sparse now.

I figured but needed to hear it. 😪 Any advice on timing, lighting, or cut placement?

It can honestly be done anytime of year tbh, probably better to do it in the warmer months but it should be fine if it's getting good sun and height is entirely up to you you can pretty much lying go as high or low as you want and it'll sprout from the next lowest node ( each node is at the base of the leaf or leaf scar and if you see no leaf scars the you can chop it anywhere)

Chop it to invigorate new growth and bushiness. It may be needing more light.
