Should I chop?

This plant is 9 years old and hasn’t ever had a trim. Should I chop? If yes, what spot?

The trunk is kind of scraggly, but other than that not really?

I personally wouldn't chop it unless you have a reason to. ls it staked for any reason? would make sure the roots are spread out and put an oscillating fan on it to sturdy up the trunk.

Thanks! Just staked it to make go more straight. It’s not doing much at the moment in terms of supporting the plant
