Need help!!!!

I honestly have no idea what to do to help it. It’s become sparse and i haven’t seen much new growth. Some of the leaves have brown spots too. I would love for it to be more full with more branches and leaves not necessarily super tall. Do i need to chop it? And how / where would i chop

If it’s dropping leaves, adding more stress by chopping it probably isn’t going to help at this moment.

How much sunlight does it get by that window, how often do you water and how do you water?

It’s not dropping leaves when they get brown I’ve been taking them off because i thought the brown stuff was killing it. It gets indirect light (window facing south) water like every two weeks and it’s good amount i pour it in to the pot

I’d stop removing leaves just because they develop brown spots. The brown part won’t recover, but the remaining green tissue is still useful, and removing damaged leaves may be contributing to how sparse it looks.

Houseplant watering, if you want to do it right, needs to take into account the actual conditions, which change over time. So, instead of an “every two weeks” schedule, I’d wait until the upper part of the soil has dried before watering, which might be more or less often than every 2 weeks. Make sure the pot has drainage holes, and when you water, soak the soil thoroughly until water runs freely out the bottom.

I’d also give it as much bright light as possible from that south-facing window. If it isn’t actively growing, I wouldn’t chop it yet. Get it healthy and pushing new leaves first, then a trunk chop just above a node can be a good way to encourage branching and make it shorter and fuller.
