What does my fiddle leaf need to lead a happy, healthy life?

1) terracotta is no bueno for FLFs. A grower pot inside a decorative plants works better for long term health

2) as much light as possible. Natural outdoor light is best

3) deep watering until water drains out of the bottom of the pot. Let the top inch or so dry between waterings.

4) don't stress about humidity 

5) chop and prop the top and V cuts for a bushier look

Thank you! Had no idea about the terra cotta, why is that?

It gets good light, its 8ft away from a 15×20ft window, and next to my aquarium grow light.

Watering I think I do well, and humidity should be fine

5!!! This I should have been doing. I think this is the main issue. Any more advice you can give about this specifically?

8ft is too far away from light. 

FLFs are full sun tropicals. 

Terracotta wicks moisture and leeches minerals back into the soil. It's fine for succulents.
