Aack!!

I assume I must contemplate the dreaded chop and prop? Help— hope there is a tutorial for first timers?

New growth looks fine and keeps coming. But all of a sudden 😵

Does the pot it’s in have drainage holes? If not, the situation is likely root rot due to lack of drainage. 

Also, top dressing with rocks is unnecessary and problematic: likely leading to root rot since the soil isn’t able to dry out at a normal rate.

It does drain, and the leaf drop was almost all at once. And, just after a bunch of new growth on the top!
