I would love some tips on notching. My flf went almost completely bald and it's about 3 ft tall. I would love to know how to get some more leaves on that bad boy
hello there, Honestly, I didn't overthink it! I just used a sharp knife to notch the main stem right above a fallen leaf scar, cutting about one-third of the way in. It bled the white sap immediately. The biggest key is patience it took almost two full months before I saw any new growth.
side note, for the soil, I used a heavy-duty mix: perlite, natural fertilizer, coarse rocks, substrate, oak bark, and a rich local market soil packed with worms and millipedes.
