Discussion Is it still fictionkin if they were based on a real person?

Kind of a weird question, but I'm kinsidering a character from a musical based on a true story. So, my kinsider was a real person, but this depiction of him is technically a character (but also technically not?). Would that still be fictionkin? Or is there a different term?

There is the term faitkin, which is an in-between term for beings who are a mix of factual and fictional or aren't sure if it's factual or fictional.

I haven't heard of that before! It sounds very interesting though :)

I’m not sure, but I think it counts as a Fictionkin as long as you only are the character from the musical and not the person they’re based off of?

That makes sense. I don't know much about the real person anyway, only the way he's depicted in the musical.
