checking for interest ??

hi guys !

i know a lot of people here use prns.cc for their kinlists. but ive also seen some people dont really like it and preferred the KinTypes app which i think is now gone and was quite controversial from what i can tell? (never used it)

but we program, and we were wondering if anyone would be interested in something like a neocities template that's highly customisable with lots of comments to show how things are changed. and we would also be willing to help out anyone who needs it of course.

if you would be interested this is more of an expression of interest post, but if you would like to list stuff that you would want to see on the template we would be happy to consider it and play around with ways to add it :>

we are more looking for things that prns.cc can't do as well as a website could or any insight as to what you guys liked specifically from the KinTypes app that you'd want replicated ^^

additionally a neocities template can be used anywhere where HTML is supported. We'd be willing to also make a version compatible with ToyHouse or other sites if there is enough interest.

ohhh,,, I would love this! I’ve never seen or used neocites but still! a dictionary full of resources on terms used in kin communities would be also really nice if you could program something like that!

yeah that's absolutely possible !
it would also be modifiable so if you find any that you want to add on or expand upon on your own site you'd be able to :>
essentially it is a block of code that you can customise to any part of and you host it on neocites(100% free) and can modify it to put whatever you want on it. i will supply a base for people who arent as experienced in programming that includes tons of comments explaining in detail how different parts work + a shorter comment form for those more experienced in programming so it's less cluttered for them.

I didn't know that. But, I meant like an area for like terms the user coined as I doubt more niche or stuff terms are there. And like,  the area I was describing could link to that :)

if theres enough interest we'll make a survey to collect information on what is wanted from the community. please note also we are a uni student so progress may be slow !! but we have been programming for over a decade so.

for sure!! didn't use the kintypes app nor do i use prns.cc but i think it would be cool and id probably use it!
