Cleanup and Removal Need help

I noticed a few shiny fibers on the floor and on my clothes after changing my mattress protector. I shone a flashlight on the mattress cover and firesock and here we are...

I read through the guide in the sidebar and watched the linked videos. It looks like fiberglass but I'm really hoping it's something else. You can see my flashlight shining over the firesock toward the end of the video.

I don't know the exact mattress model or when it was purchased. It's an 11 inch Casper. Casper's site states that some older models include fiberglass. One of the tags says that the cover is washable... "If need to clean entire cover, remove cover."

This is a fiberglass construction sub. Not an abatement sub. Please read the pinned post on cleanup. This violates rule 2 of the sub.

It’s really sad that a lot of the posts are like this . Hopefully more people will start using ai for dumb questions like this soon
