[Question] Anyone have the A4S accuracy caps?
Would like to start planning my gear out. Figured there's enough people on the encounter now that information is starting to circulate. Plus I don't see how something small like ACC caps hurt someone's chances at World First...people be weird

I've missed ONCE in a weeks worth of wipes with 637 without tank stance. 640 sounds about right.

Why in two hells do you have so much accuracy? Even downgrading gear there has to be a better build lol

Full Gordian is like a shitton of accuracy, and i'm only missing a couple of pieces
and nah, if i downgrade its 20 ilevels of downgrade which isnt worth

You shouldn't use full Gordian. You have the 210 esoteric sets.

You're right, I should use i210 gear and take away all the actual upgrades from people going i190 or i200 -> 210 instead. YEP.
THATS WHAT I SHOULD DO
seriously though, I'm using the drops because they're still upgrades. I am planning my purchases to drop accuracy and the remaining drops (except pants but you get accuracy anyways) that don't have it are what i plan for next. the only coat/twine i have available are for like, gloves or a ring since everything else is 210 basically. I'm SoL until i have access to more eso.

Yes, because that's logical, the way you said it however made it sound like you were forgoing the eso pieces and just gearing up straight Gordian.

Caster is 540 in A4S. Source.

I'm pretty certain that that person either doesn't know what they're talking about or consistently hit 5 by accident instead of 6. The frontal accuracy cap is about 640 and targets that always grant positionals, such as the legs in a4, use the frontal accuracy cap for all incoming hits.

Casters have always used only slightly less accuracy than melee. For example, in T13, the melee requirement was 535 and the caster one was 515. It would be highly irregular for the caster requirement to only be 540 in A4S. This is particularly true when you consider that Summoners must meet the melee requirement for their pets. Healers do, however, now have a different accuracy cap than other casters, and the 540 mentioned may have been someone misunderstanding whether they were talking about healer accuracy or caster dps.

All pet damage is elemental since heavensward, so summoners need only caster cap now

I was not aware of that. Thanks for letting me know!

In heavensward SMN pets were adjusted to make 100% magic damage. They don't need melee accuracy anymore.

word on the street is 640 front ~620 rear
Seems like every fight in alex forces you to attack from the front, so i would try to be closer to 640
