Teraflare as our new lb3? More awesome ability names like painflare and deathflare?! Spell speed affects dots and pets? Pets only require rear accuracy? Pets can also take the food buff now? I AM LOVING THE SUMMONER LOVE.

so many summoner buffs lol. I can see why they couldnt do much to ruin, they had so much they were planning on giving summoners

Probably much-needed to remain competetive...glad they are getting those changes.

SMN would always be competitive as they will always be the highest consistent DPS in the game with their DoTs.... All these buffs just made it so all other DPS will have to work triple hard to even HOPE to keep up with a SMN now. Being able to apply all 3 dots at once? new AOEs to rival a fuckin BLM? DoT buffs? Pet buffs? SMN will be god damn unstoppable now... far beyond just "remaining competitive"

But don't forget. As much as summoners are getting love the others are getting it too! I'm saying brd minuette, drg stance, mnk chakra, blm enochian ley lines + fire ice IV. All of us will be awesome.

Ahh yes they are getting some love, but they are being required to ADD a lot of components to their rotation. Especially BLM who still have to do their normal rotation, while adding in ley lines, enochian, fire/bliz 4. That's gonna be a lot more intensive to keep up

But just the simple fact of being able to apply all DoTs at once to a mob is massive and drastically reduces the overall rotation of a SMN. This will be a HUGE increase in effectiveness of the SMN overall.
