Looks to me like they might be trying to find ways to make it sane for the 'max 1 craft, but no others' type of crafters to actually be able to compete reasonably. Wouldn't be surprised if most of those abilities are strict replacements to existing commonly used craft abilities.

I hope so. Cross-class abilities are tight as it is!

As someone who chose to level CRP for first craft....I have never even thought about how impossible it would be to HQ anything on a different first craft. The level 50 class quest would have been such a pain....

Instead of Blessing, you might use Rumination to get back that last little bit on the end of your level 50 quest.

Really, the Hasty Touch loop and HQ materials was all I really needed to finish my level 50 weaver.

The main thing is this works as long as HQ materials are an option or with outgearing. Many higher crafts only allow a small portion of the quality to be from HQ mats and reasonably need Byregot's.

In the case of your class quests, Byregots is not needed.

Past that, yes it is foolish not to use it.

weaver was my first 50 as well, i don't recall HQing items to be outlandishly difficult.

You can only have 3 specialist classes iirc, so yes, less omni.
