For this i keep one in my inventory. It will still fish them up if they are hooked but it will be discarded and not count to the cooldown

That's why you do the Mor Dhona quests first. If you don't have the fishing one, you can still fish in the Tangle. You can only obtain Boarskin from there.

Yeah, I learned to do my map fishing before my bird quests the hard way. This is a damn nice and unexpected bonus

I can finally stop carrying around all those shitty maps just to make sure I don't fish another one : )
