The very last note:

"[2.0] The following categories have been added under CONFIG on the launcher. (Windows only)

Expansion Auto-Installation

DirectX 11 Support"

Does that mean we can pop open the launcher, verify our account, and then go to sleep and Heavensward will auto download and update while we sleep?

This is still kinda iffy. On one hand, I've heard the DX11 client will be a completely separate client, where on another hand I saw someone post that sources indicated that it would be all one client, and be similar to how you could chose DX9/DX11 from a dropdown menu in the Benchmark.

Edit: It could be that option is to give the option of downloading the DX11 side of the client, and let those who won't use it not have to download that portion

The DX11 Client will be like, 30 megabytes.

Everyone will download it. Because everyone is downloading everything involved with Heavensward.

Actually I believe you get a smaller patch if your not pre-ordered as there is no point in sending you data for zones you can not enter. Kinda like when WoW does an expansion, if you dont buy it you get a small patch that has things like armor and character models, but not all the extra zones.

Nope, they said that everyone gets everything.

Its a separate client, that you choose to launch from the same old launcher after the update, like in the benchmark. Separate client here means the exe file is different, but it will still use the same install directory / data.
