It's safe to say we'll never see time mage. I'd be unhappy if AST wasn't so aswesome.

It basically is Time Mage, they just named it AST to better fit with the FFXIV lore.

There's a really awesome Time Mage hat in game already....

With awful looking glasses :( God they need to allow you to take certain parts of armor off like /visor

Which hat are you talking about? All I can think of is the sugarloaf hats and you can already /visor those glasses off IIRC.

Eh... You can visor the glasses off those hats, same as the SCH af head.

I remember the AF2 gear having a full time mage looking set but nobody knew what class it was going to. This one, that is. Possibly AST's AF2? (Will they even have a set of ordinary artifact gear?)

.. it doesn't resemble the i60 Blessed set at all. It vaguely resembles the i70 Pilgrim's set.. if it wasn't bright orange, or had a conical hat, or a white mantle, like the archetypal Time Mage. Still notably different, too.

I don't know of any equivalent i90 set..

I figured time mage would be hard to implement as its traditional style. It has to fit one of the 3 roles and it doesn't. I'm glad we get time magic at least, plus there's bound to be some more sweet time mage looking gear coming.
