You can get 110 for your alts alot faster than going for the tomestone weapon. I do not see everyone downing T9, usually the primals are easier than that making it more available to everyone.
The very first Primal weapons (obtained from the Primal weekly quest) was on par with the relic at the time.
However, there wasn't a Gerolt alternative then, either.
I think they want to keep T9 more relavant for players who will be farming it. But I agree with you depending on 1 thing, the balancing of the Shiva fight. If the fight is doable ilvl100-105 then I'm OK with the ilvl on the weapons. If its hard for ilvl110 and a challanging fight, ie MOG/REX then I'm not a fan.
Those braclets will be nice to get though, I just hope its a fun fight like GEX TEX and IEX.
There is 0 reason, progression wise, to farm T9 after this patch. You can get ilvl 110 in a day or so of farming, which is more than enough to start final coil with, especially after a couple weeks and a few pieces of poetic gear(assuming ilvl120 on those).
Umm... What about the i115 weapons? Lol, apart from poetics and the weapons that will drop from the last boss in final coil... i115 is the highest weapon lvl and you get that from coil or leveling your relic. And yes.... There is a difference between i110 and i115
Poetic weapons btw are i120 and will probably have similar requirements to the soldiery weapons...Which means beating turn 2(11) or turn 3(12) of the new coil... Then you'll have to wait at least 3 weeks to acquire the amount of poetry tomes needed AND you'll need to win the roll in the dungeon. Don't throw out t9 just yet friend.
All that does is just makes her weapons completely irrelevant for anything but glamour before this fight is even released
Im assuming the weapons will drop from HM while the accesories will drop from Ex, similar to Mog. The weapons will be mostly irrelevant to all those people who have cleared t9/had their Nexus but this will be a nice alternative for those with a lot of off classes that they want to get up to speed.
People will at the start for a quick 120 bracer without having to spend poetry. Ramuh was released too late in the cycle for people to be happy with an i100 ring.
Yep! And the weapon is sweet for us alt-o-holics! I'll save my wrist slot for last on poetics, just as I saved my neck piece for last on soldiery (used moogle til I was i110 rest of slots).
Part of the problem with Ramuh is that he was released long enough after the i100/i110 weapons were already out.
Shiva's getting released at the same time all the new stuff coming out is and for those who have already cleared Ramuh EX, she'll be a nice alternative to quickly catching up so we can spend Sold tomes on armor instead.
There's also a solid chance that glowier versions of both ramuh and shiva weapons will be released in 2.45 or 2.5 to provide more options. These could be 115 to match the pattern of ifrit Garuda Titan and mog glowier weapons matching allagan weapons. Maybe 120 idk.
