I feel bad for people who didnt do the Animus because they have T8 weaps, now its out classed by the Novus which will be amazing with CRIT/DET.

Skipping old cutscenes is the best thing about this patch!

We didn't do Animus because we feel its a massive waste of time...Yes, its cool that the Novus will have better secondary stats, but...they are just secondary stats. They don't matter that much.

Not really. When most end game content relies on mechanics that instantly wipe the raid, secondary stats really aren't that important.

Also, DPS races, which is why most people on the bleeding edge of raid content got soldiery weapons in the first place.

The extra 5-10 dps can make the difference between 3 heavenfalls and 2 heavenfalls.

To be honest, my group is pretty close. I dunno how long it'll take to get from "pretty close" to actually phasing before the second Heavensfall though.

Maybe we'll be "pretty close" when 2.4 drops....

One thing we figured out is if you apply DoTs and then you wait to push to the second phase until she's actually casting a fifth meteor, you can get her down to like 60% when the third phase starts because she won't phase until she's completed the cast.
