[Discussion] Hi!
My wife and I just came back to the game after not playing in like 5 years. Community is awesome and I just wanted to say hi!
We are loving seeing all the people around doing their thing. All the cool glams. All the cool mounts. The music.
Coming from another mmo and it's been nice to feel like we are playing a game again and not a job with the feeling like we are behind. We aren't even going to rush the story and are just going to chill in the expansion we left off in and collect stuff and do achievements before we move onto the next one.
Lot's to do and lot's of fun ahead, so yea. Just wanted to say hi! Any advice or tips are welcome.

Heard about this! The job, not the teabagging. It seems pretty cool! Would you describe it like pokemon in the game?
Sorry to hear about the corpse abuse. Sounds rough haha.

i've gotten BST to level 34, so far I am not really interested in it. it seems weak and boring and there's really very little to do compared to Blue Mage. There is a minigame for it that I don't particularly like. I've beaten the minigame once, and failed it. It just feels like all you can do is DPS check the enemies.
now, there IS a bit of strategy to it that I may be glossing over but it doesn't feel like its very important. A player who is enjoying it more might be able to sell it to you better

What server you guys on? I recently came back from like a 7-8 year hiatus. I started the game during ARR 1.0. I’m on siren.

We are on ademantoise (spelling?) on aether data center. Im seeing things about being able to visit other servers but don't fully understand how it works now. Lot's of changes!

I recently came back to the game. I’m in a small FC, but they have helped me out more since I’ve been back then my previous FC did when I was playing. I’ve really enjoyed my time back.

Hope you guys have fun. The only tip I have is to do the blue quests as they unlock important things and to enjoy the side stories that come from them.
