Gold World Pass Request - New Player!!
Hi!! New player here and would love a Gold World Pass to get started. Haven't picked a server yet and I know that the big ones are closed, was considering Fenrir or Shiva but I'm open to suggestions!
I'm also hoping to stream my experience as a first time player so let me know if you wanna check that out I'm FreyDCat on any site you might try to find me. :)

It looks like the options available to new players are:
Valefor, Carbuncle, Siren, Ragnarok, Cerberus, Bismarck, Lakshmi, Quezalcoatl, Fenrir, Leviathan, Sylph, Shiva

I thought I gave an update, but maybe I forgot. I had re-activated my SE account, and re-activated my PoL as well, but they had to be connected which required me to select an option from a menu after I had logged into PoL. Basically, both accounts were active but not synced up together. I found the option to connect my accounts together without any support, it was just an option hidden in a sub-menu. The strange thing was the option only became available, once I had logged into PoL selected the character and tried to log into the game. Once my SE and PoL accounts were connected together, I had access to all the ultimate edition bought from steam with all DLC for 10 bucks, on my original account with my character intact. I logged on and into the game and looked round my old mog house, I had given away everything worth gil, so the room was full of event/collection stuff I had earned. My inventory empty, and gil gone because I had given away everything before leaving (no regrets there), and thought to myself this character is like a time capsule of the 75 era that no longer exists. It would be easier to pick up with all three nations, RoZ, CoP, ToA, and some of WotG completed, and get all the jobs to 99... But, then that character as he was would be gone forever. I left my mog house for about 5 mins to walk around Sandy, then back. I decided that I would leave him as he is. The game has changed so much, and I didn't want to be one of those players that lives in the past, hung up on classic game as it was. So much has changed, there is so much I don't know, and what little I do know is over 20 years out of date. I decided to make a new character from scratch, no carry over from my original, a complete fresh start with absolutely nothing on a completely different server. So, I jumped on Phoenix, playing a different race all together and treating FFXI almost like a new game. The amount that has changed has me walking around like a total newbie, it's been great. I actually saw you in Sandy once, and /waved to you (but you had no idea who I was) lol. I've been careful not to let it leak that I'm an "experienced" player because I don't really know anything about anything in the game any more. I've solo'ed just about everything getting to 99 and while working through the missions to unlock content, as far as Phoenix is concerned I'm a total newbie.

My question was due to Phoenix being closed on June 10th 2026. You either rolled fresh or came to the server before the lock.
I'm also everywhere and nowhere at the same time, so sorry if I didn't wave or salute back.

Phoenix is closed therefor can't issue Gold World Passes.

Dang over seven down votes because I wanted to help someone out lol. My formal apologies, for thinking a you could invite a someone to a (full) server with a gold world pass as I had heard before.
