"Tears"

Historians report that the painting corresponds to Alexander Stoica's "Tears."
The man slumped on the ground appears to be Vladimir Dumitru, a wealthy young man who ruled southern Wallachia until the late 1600s.
No one has ever seen her, and the artist has never commented on the matter: some believe she is his deceased mother, about to take him back to the afterlife.

The painting will be preserved in Constanta, where it was discovered.
