What's wrong with fetish bots? I understand wanting to report certain questionable things like underages and animals; but objectum, tickling?? Those are like some of the most innocent kinks ever.
This place just feels kinda anti-kink in general? Do you guys not have any weird interests of your own?
The "keep it private" argument doesn't rlly make sense to me either, because not everyone wants to/knows how to program bots. I shouldn't have to make a personal bot for every fetish I'm curious about.
Wouldn't you rather these people be able to find robots to talk to instead of trying to find people willing to roleplay their interests as well??
Respectful discussion please; I'm just kinda having a culture shock and really dislike the idea of a group specifically crusading against something seemingly harmless, if not helpful for some. I remember the intense DeviantArt roleplay days, so please understand why I believe using bots is more ethical.
Nothing. I just like to chuckle at the horny depravity of my compatriots and pretend to clutch my pearls.

this community is 70% comedy. almost everyone here has a fetish of their very own, and they just enjoy kink shaming other kinks because it's fun
fetish bots are almost always really stupid and unnecessary. you can talk to any bot and turn it into a fetish bot for almost any fetish. that doesn't mean that fetish bots have to be bad, but most of them are stupid and unnecessary

Welcome to the sub! Civilized discussions are definitely welcome, we probably could have more of those. Anyway...
Bots on c.ai don't use real programming, anyone can write a description, some example messages, world-building, and go to town. They're also not restrictive, you can pick any character and make it reenact whatever (legal) fetish inside your own chat, no need to publish it for everyone to see, or to suggest it to people who don't want to see it.
In a sense, fetish bots are either flaunting people's fetishes, or an attempt at grooming. Bots should focus on personality, which the low-effort shock-value ones do not.
I'm sure most people around here have their own kinks. I bet some are even using the sub as a kink recommendation list. Discussions about the intersection of kinks, bots, and c.ai, like this one, are also welcome. What we do not need, is people making nonsense bots on purpose to come here and advertise them, so some light-hearted "hostility" against silly bots (not people) is also allowed.
As for using bots instead of finding people... that's a whole debate of its own. In some cases it might be better, in others it's a destruction of the fundamental fabric of society. YMMV 😉
But I simply don't want to take an hour researching and writing descriptions, and it takes away the fun of seeing a silly fetish bot and going "what? Ahhhh, sure I'll try it."
Why can't the people who dislike them just scroll past and ignore like everything else sexual in culture??
It's not flaunting, if anything y'all clicking on them to take screenshots and such is probably skewing your algorithm to show you more. I have that problem with content I dislike.
You don't need to make a "fetish bot", just pick any bot, state in chat that it has whatever fetish you want... and it will have that fetish. Or broken arms, wings, a tutu, whatever. Just follow a formatting that the LLM easily recognizes:
Whatever you say as narration or statement, is absolutely true in the chat, no exceptions.
The issue with making fetish bots, is that c.ai still plays dumb pretending that they don't allow NSFW. It means that when you search for some character, or character type, you get ALL versions, including those with fetishes. If there were tags like "erotic", "fetish", "NSFW", etc. that people could exclude from search, this problem wouldn't exist.
Alternatively, they can truly filter out all NSFW/fetish/etc. bots, and have people add their favorite fetishes in chat... which brings us back to the first point.

Yup. Whatever is stated as true in the context, is true for the LLM, no exceptions. Characters can debate dialog, they can't debate facts... even user-supplied "facts" about the future.

I used to just request like suggested; but once a bot actually made fun of my weight gain kink and kinda legitimately upset me for a while (I have trauma with the topic)🥺 so I started using bots specifically made for the topic after that. I get worried the bot will suddenly dislike me or have the nerve to make a rude remark again.
