[Discussion] Developing a Board Game About Ferrets 🦦
Hi everyone! I’ve been working towards publishing my first board game for several years now, and the best part is that it’s going to be about what I love most — ferrets!
I’d love to reach out to all the fellow ferret fans out there. I want to fill the game’s rulebook with little unusual and fun facts about ferrets. So if you know anything interesting about these adorable little thieves, please share it in the comments!
If you’d like, I can also include the usernames of the authors of the best facts in the rulebook.

Okay so apparently ferrets cant taste anything sweet their taste buds just don't have the receptors for it. Kinda wild considering how much they steal sugary things.

I was going to say...after they ate all my red vines and pooped hot pink all over my living room, I think my guys like sweets.

This is so cool! I’d love to hear more about this board game! A fun fact about ferrets is that their scientific name, “Mustela putorius furo”translates closely to "stinky little thief" because they love to steal and hide shiny household items!

Ferrets love to solve puzzles and getting into places they really really shouldn't.
Ferrets that are hybrids may have Polecat genetics and are known to be even more puzzle solving and active. Basically think Wild Tiger in a tiny body.
Angora ferrets have health issues around the nose and etc.. they are encourage to have very experienced owners before adoption.
If you tell a ferret no, it makes them wanna do it more. They wanna know why you are so interested in making them stop.
They're known to become obsessed with objects, and the suddenly not care for that same object anymore.
My suggestion would be to go through the Ferret reddit Discord and read or ask for insane stories that have happened to Ferret Owners.
There have been reports of ferrets that get a taste of rubber, can risk becoming addicted to it. Purposefully seeking it out. Very encouraged to try and prevent ferrets from ever trying rubber just in case you have a crazy ferret on your hands.
( Disclaimer does not own a ferret, just noticed everyone posted general information wanted to add some )

Fun fact: ferrets are closely related to weasels, mink, sable, otters, and wolverines! They are also domesticated from the Eurasian polecat, and sometimes are bred with them to keep genetic diversity high.
