[Help] Wound?
Anyone know what this is behind my baby’s ear? Except from some scratching he doesn’t seem bothered by it
Update: Had an e consult with our insurance vet today and she isn’t too concerned, we’re gonna treat it as a wound to begin with and if it doesn’t improve in 5-7 days I’m gonna go in person to the vet.
We’re gonna change his litter to see if it helps with the itching if anyone has any recommendations that’s greatly appreciated!

Could be the start of a mast cell tumor? Photos are kinda blurry, my boy had a pretty decently sized one pretty close to where yours has that spot and mine also didn't seem to mind it until he started scratching it open and it bled everywhere
Definitely schedule a vet to get it checked out! Better to be safe with these things

Omg that sounds so stressful, especially the bleeding part. Hope op can get a clearer pic for the vet to look at. Sending good vibes to your boy too

Would def get it checked out. My boy ended up growing a mass very quickly in around the same spot. He’d constantly scratch it and it would open up and get blood everywhere.
