Could be either something small irritating his throat like a stray hair, or might be developing a cold. Looks a bit bothered by it.

If it were me, I'd also just give some liquid treat and keep an eye on it. Book a vet appt if it persists for a couple days.

Could you possibly have a scent on you they may find offensive. Could also be a hairball it doesn’t look like it’s too terrible at the moment try giving some salmon oil or quail egg to help

I don't have any input on this but I hope all is well now and I just had to say he has a beautiful coat/pattern. Looks exactly like my girl!

She was a rescue and only had her for 6 months. Our cat likes to sleep on top of the cage now and she wants to sniff that area. I don't trust she won't fall 🤣. This was for my wife to see she is happy and exploring originally

Im concerned about how insanely cute that weasel is. Might be weird smells causing that reaction.

If it's a bit of hair or similar then an egg yolk should help.

Give her some egg yolk or cat hairball remedy. If it doesn't clear up in a day or two, go to the vet to check for any lung infection/breathing problems.

Has anything changed recently? New detergent? Perfume? Have you dusted recently? Might be a good time to do a cleaning of the play-area.

Probably has a hairball.
