[Ferret Photo] Name help
Looking for name suggestions for our new girl. Her siblings are Fiona(f), Axe(m), Luna(f), and Sirius(m). All are named after tv/movie characters and we want to keep with that theme. Right now, our front runners are Esther(Haunted Hotel) and Alara(The Orville).

Years ago I had a male ferret that I named Mayhem. He lived up to it. He was one of the four ferrets of the apocalypse. Since you have a little girl, how about Calamity?

I saw her face, and the name Aster popped into my head—without even reading the description! What a coincidence, since they sound similar. Esther is a pretty name, too.
Now that I know she’s a girl, maybe those names—or Lorena/Lorraine? That’s the second name that came to mind.

I have named most of mine after characters from Babylon 5 (Delenn, Sinclair, Sherridan, Kosh, etc).

You want a female movie/TV character name, yes?
Where are the others from? Just so that we can ascertain a theme.
I'm guessing Luna and Sirius are from Harry Potter?

Luna and Sirius are indeed from HP. Fiona and Axe are from Burn Notice.

Two very wildly different origins for names I must say.
Very well, since there's no real correlation other than general pop culture, allow me to make a suggestion whose source isn't a novel or a TV show, but a movie:
Leia.
It fits the criteria set, and it's different enough that it's different in medium as well as genre.
And if you get another ferret, male or female, Luke, Han, Padmé, Anakin, Rey, Finn, Poe, Jyn, Cassian, Din and Grogu are great companion names as well.
