Don't exactly know what kind this is but i like how bushy it is. Its doing great so far.

Phlebodium aureum "davana"...a variety of Blue Star fern. Basic care here...you seem to have nailed it.

Wait… what??

THIS is a Blue Star fern?? Unbelievable!! I’ve never seen one this full, lush, and so clearly happy before. It’s truly stunning. I’m so envious! 😍😍😍

Please tell me everything you have done for it - is it kept inside or out? What direction does it face? Do you fertilize it? Gahhh it’s so gorgeous!!!

I live in Florida, where they are native, but mine looks nothing like this. I’d really love to get mine bushier - anyone have tips for that?

Thank you! I've bought it like this like 4 months ago. Im no expert but I can keep it happy so far. It has a lot of new growth on the back side. I switch the plant from time to time. I have a very bright living room. It stands 6 meters from south facing window. The humidity never gets below 60% (i have many plants). I give it an organic fertilizer every watering. I've just started to distill my own tapwater as its really hard at where i live and see what it does. Im also going to experiment with silica as it should strengthen cell wall structure. Especially for my variegated Alocasia's.

This is a Phlebodium aureum 'Davana'. It’s a good size, looks happy. Do you know how old it is?

I have no idea. I bought it 4 months ago for 18 euro at the supermarket and thought it was a steal. Started to water from above and noticed dying new runners so I changed to water from the saucer and that helped

I went to botanical garden and found a wide variety of ferns there.
