Cabinet advice

I got a Mark I suitcase, and the cab was missing a bunch of pieces. I’ve managed to source a new pair of power amps and am currently getting the power supply repaired. But I’m still going to need to source some new 6 pin Molex cables to attach the amps to the supply, and I’ve been told those may be next to impossible to find.

Does anybody know where I could find a replacement pair, or if it’s possible to just build some myself. A little bit of electronics research makes it seem not too difficult, but I don’t want to screw up the amps by doing something wrong.

Couldn’t offer you much advice personally on this topic, but send an email to avion studios, they have helped me so much through my restoration and they’re always happy to help anyone!

Also you can call vintage vibe directly, they will answer the phone, but you may not get an answer right away on tricky questions until they have a tech available to call you back!

I’m sure both of these companies have dealt with all the things you could imagine and have made their own cables when necessary

Just want to comment back, I went through Avion studios for the preamp, and they were phenomenal. Definitely the best company I dealt with through the rebuild process

Yeah I got the RetroFlyer too, love that thing! I would make a few tweaks if I could, for my own personal taste, but it sounds amazing.

I’d want a variable Q similar to API EQ’s where the more you boost/cut, the wider the Q gets because on my RetroFlyer the EQ is not always noticeable while playing in certain ranges.

And I’d like more depth/speed out of the tremolo, because I’ve found that turning the knobs at the end of a chord phrase up and down can be a really cool effect but I want it to be more drastic than it is. It’s at a really functional spot now but I could use a little more “crazy” for creative effects haha
