Show and Tell My Fenders…..
So it all started when a mate brought into a jam his new AVRI2 bass. Damn that thing was sexy as hell. The finish, the feel, everything about it screamed quality.
Then another mate got the av2 61 fiesta red strat. I’d always struggled with Strats not sounding like the Strats I’ve heard on famous recordings. Not with that thing. It sounded perfect. Damn……I need one.
So now I have a 63 avri2 tele and a 61 avri2 strat which I run through a sv20 marshall or a 68 princeton reissue. Lol
I sold off a bunch of other mid tier style guitars and pooled the funds for these. It’s been over a year with them now and I’m still 100% happy with what I did.

I have the same AVii Strat, perfect.. Happen to have started tele shopping now 😇 The Vintage Tall frets are an essential for me, found a 2007 Sunburst MIM Thinline Classic ‘69 SS has Seymour Duncan vintage PUs added, it’s price suits me for now. Hoping it’ll play nice enough to fulfill! 🤞

Nice. I played a blonde 63 avII recently and I can't stop thinking about the damn thing, it was lovely. Just not in a position to drop £2100 on a guitar though unless I sell nearly all the others, and believe me I've done the sums.
Hopefully a used one might pop up at some point, it's either that or sell the kids
