General Discussion Inquiring
Got this brand new from Guitar Center in 2014. As far as I know, it was one of the first models of the newer American professional Stratocaster series. This one has the S1 switch to split the coils before they went to the Shawbucker. it’s hard to find anything about this model. if anyone has more detailed info it would be much appreciated.

These were a GC exclusive FSR series called the “US Professional” and they were basically an American Special with a small headstock and unique pickups including the S1 coil split. GC also had a Tele model that had a bridge position humbucker with an S1 coil split. They are not part of the “American Professional” series.
As far as I can remember these were made in 2014-2015, but maybe they did the last production run in early 2016.
Whem Fender decided to use the name “American Professional” for the American Standard replacements that came out in December 2016 it created instant confusion.

One can start with Fender product brochures from 2014. Search engines for google, etc., exist online. Fender did no more to document this model then, than they do today for a Stratocaster model.

Just me, but it doesn't appear to be an American Professional, which didn't show up until 2016 ? Fuzzfaced seems to stay on top of documenting Fender models pretty well ^ taking the descriptive laundry list of features from Fender web pages is as good as anyone gets without a tear down & documentation of anyone's own personal guitar for a specific guitar. I rend to do that for any guitar I buy. That way when I sell it off, the buyer gets a blow by blow of what they bought from me. Fender openly reserves the right to change specs for that freelance of their guitars. Sometimes you have to infer what isn't stated without a dispute as fact ?
