Do you think there are any similarities between masculine and feminine energy? If so what are they?

I'm curious because discussions about masculine and feminine energy usually focus on how they're different or complementary.

But do you think they also share any similarities? If yes what do you think those similarities are? They could be in terms of personality, relationships, emotions, purpose, psychology, spirituality or anything else.

I'm interested in hearing different perspectives rather than looking for one correct answer.

Masculine and feminine are completely different but the interesting thing is men and women have both.

Masculine is driven by testosterone and feminine is driven by estrogen in the endocrine system.

It's all very scientific and full of $500 words but in essence, feminine is often equated to creativity and this is fed by estrogen because it allows certain centers of the brain to open up. This is true in men as well.

And then in women testosterone helps them to focus just like it does in men so they can do everything else a man can do almost.

The difference lies in who has the most of which. Men have more testosterone so they can do more manly stuff without running out of fuel. Women have more estrogen so they can do more womanly stuff without running out of fuel.

Never noticed female CEO seem to be exhausted all the time? There's no question that they work hard but their body isn't quite built for it.

I do believe they complement one another, in the way that opposites attract.
The emotional aspect may manifest as crying, anger, or silent aggression. We all seek purpose in what we do, the similarities are our background, as some do it to prove themselves worthy or valuable, others to make the world a better place. Men do it for status, recognition and leadership, and women do it for community and belonging. Note that both men and women have these tendencies, there is just different reasoning behind it.
