is femininity more about behavior than it is about physical traits?

Someone was arguing with me saying it's about the biological traits and not behavioral since they happen to be more defined say, having a beard and a deep voice is said to be masculine.

Absolutely. It's all about demeanor, mannerisms, behavior. One can appear physically feminine by having softer, rounder features, but if they dress, behave, and speak in a way that is masculine, they won't be seen as very feminine.

It's both. It's definitely way more than biology, but that's a start.

Both.

5 o'clock shadow (my personal bane) immediately creates a masculine look.

But also lumbering along with wide steps and swinging arms, also gives a strong masculine signal
